Global Knowledge Students Master Avaya IP Office 8.0 in Two New Courses

Cairo (Egypt) - June 27, 2012 - Global Knowledge today announced the availability of two new Avaya IP Office 8.0 courses in which students will learn to install, administer, configure, and maintain Avaya IP Office 8.0 systems.

In the IP Office Technical Basic Implementation Workshop, students will learn to install, administer, and manage an Avaya IP Office 8.0 system implementation. In hands-on labs, they will practice installing and configuring the Avaya IP Office system and using the Avaya IP Office 8.0 applications.

Over five days, students will learn about IP500v2 hardware and software components and configuring settings for users, hunt groups, and trunks. They will discover the basics of VoIP, examine VoiceMail Pro features, and learn about Avaya one-X® Portal functionality.

In the IP Office Advanced Configuration Application Workshop, a follow-up to basic Avaya IP Office 8.0 implementation training, students will gain the skills needed to customize and maintain an IP Office customer solution. In hands-on labs, they will practice analysis and monitoring methods using advanced IP Office 8.0 applications.

In the three-day workshop, students will learn to conduct advanced call flows, covering topics such as database actions, Text-to-Speech, Unified Messaging Service, System Status Application, System Monitor, IP Office data and voice networking, and VoiceMail Pro in a Small Community Network.

The new Avaya IP Office 8.0 courses are available in classrooms, live over the Internet in virtual classrooms, and as private on-site courses that can be tailored to the needs of a student's organization.
